MyHelpGroup

Early access. MyHelpGroup is being tested on Google Play before its full release. The iPhone app is on its way to the App Store. During this phase the app may change, and the service may have brief interruptions while we improve it.

Terms of use

Last revised: 13 October 2026.

These are the rules for using MyHelpGroup, on Android and on iPhone. They are written to be read, not skimmed past: they are short, and the parts that matter most for your safety come first.

Who we are, and accepting these terms

MyHelpGroup is provided by Cesar Bremer Pinheiro. You can reach us at [email protected] about anything on this page.

By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy policy, which explains what the app collects and where it goes. If you do not agree with them, do not create an account.

What MyHelpGroup is, and what it is not

MyHelpGroup alerts a private group of people you choose — family, friends, neighbours — when you need help, and reassures them that you are well the rest of the time.

It is not a public emergency service, it is not a monitoring centre with people watching around the clock, and it is not a medical device. Whether an alert arrives depends on mobile networks, the internet, your phone and theirs, battery, and the permissions each phone has granted. We work hard to make delivery fast and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every alert will be delivered, or delivered in time, and nobody in your group is obliged to answer.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number first — 911 in the United States, 112 in Europe, 190, 192 or 193 in Brazil — and then use the app.

Your account

Acceptable use: zero tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. MyHelpGroup exists to keep people safe, and we act on anything that makes it unsafe. You must not use the app to:

Reporting and blocking

Every user can report a user, an invitation, an alert or a voice message, and can block a user, from inside the app.

You can also report by e-mail to [email protected].

Your content

You are responsible for what you send through the app: alerts, voice messages, group names and anything else you type or record. You keep whatever rights you have in it. You allow us to store it and deliver it to your group only to provide the service, as the Privacy policy describes.

Availability, no warranty, and liability

We try to keep MyHelpGroup running at all times, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, by failures, or by things outside our control, and it may change as we improve it. The app is provided as it is and as available, without any promise that it will always work or suit a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for harm caused by an alert that was not delivered, was delayed, or was not answered, nor for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law — for example, the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code (CDC) or the consumer protection law of the European Union and its member states.

Ending your use

You can stop using MyHelpGroup and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, as described above, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
